I’m learning the art of consistency…of making little inputs into something to accomplish a cumulated result. I haven’t exactly been consistent with most things so I’ve always admired anyone who is able to keep at any discipline for a long time.

I’m also learning to have a better attitude to obstacles I encounter. I haven’t exactly handled most issues or problems well. There are times I resolve them rationally but other times, I just get really stressed about it or indulge in self-pitying and still do nothing about it (I avoid). Our attitude is influenced greatly by our environment, personality and belief system but I know it’s still not an excuse to keep something that isn’t working simply because ‘it’s who we are’.
I’m really interested in working on my attitude towards challenges in this year.
John Maxwell says attitude isn’t everything but it’s the difference maker.
I believe that having a better attitude in the midst of obstacles, fears…will change my approach to life.

Another trait that I would love to build is resilience. Whenever I want to gain more knowledge, I find books on said topics and read. I do try to apply some of them but consistency has been an issue (remember we’re working on getting better at this).I’d try and keep you updated on my journey. You’re sure to get a book review/reflection along the way.

I’d like to ask you to do something a bit unconventional after reading this post. Kindly leave an encouraging message for me or anyone else who chances upon it. Thank you.

Really great things you want to work on. Some things I need to work on too. Great read.
