A friend asked me a few days prior to this year’s Valentine’s Day if I was going to be writing a Valentine’s Day post. I had never written a Val’s Day post, mostly because I never went beyond the ‘thinking about it’ stage. This time around, I thought, ‘Why not?’ I did write one and the over-ambitious person I was, it ended up in my archives. Several months later, here we are – my first Val’s Day post (and hopefully the last).
